I am always looking for excellent graduate students (MSc and PhD).
Applicants should
- be highly motivated,
- have a strong interest in theoretical computer science,
- have excellent problem solving skills, and
- enjoy developing and analyzing new algorithms, as well as finding correctness proofs.
MSc and PhD positions are generally fully funded by the Department of Computer Science and my research grants. I offer an engaging and fun research environment, and high quality research training in a diverse group. Many of my graduate students have received awards and published in the top international computer science venues.
If you are interested in being supervised by me, please send me an e-mail with your CV and a recent transcript. To formally apply, use this FGS link, but I recommend that you also contact me personally.
Please do not send me generic e-mails. I will not reply to e-mails unless they are addressed to me personally, and unless there is a clear indication of interest in theoretical computer science. Please consider that programming language skills and software development experience are not important.
